INTRODUCTION TO FOOD SUPPLIERS

Normally, ingredients for your menu would be purchased from many different suppliers. In this simulation, to simplify your selection, we have grouped together ingredients of a similar quality as 'Supplier 1, 2 or 3' Your menu food cost will depend on your choice of supplier, in addition to which you will need to consider the appropriate choice of menu for your hotel.The cost of the food for your menu will depend on choice of supplier as will the attractiveness of your menu to the customers.

Note that the cost of your ingredients will change according to market prices and seasonal factors, and you should therefore check your food costs at least once every quarter. Current prices are shown for each supplier.
